MASNA Membership Drive 2015
A lot has been happening as MASNA continues their membership drive for 2015.
The proud new members of Marine Aquarium Societies of North America are already noticing the many ways, the largest non-profit organization of marine aquarium hobbyists and clubs, inform the world of the latest and ongoing issues in the marine Aquarium hobby.
MASNA’s unique ability to help show how exciting it is to be a reef and fish enthusiast is second to none. The hundreds of hobbyists and reef clubs that are already members, continue to enjoy to be part of an organization that can give them the knowledge they are looking for.
Through MASNA’s many programs, MASNA’s goals are to:
- Educate our members with online and published material, the MACNA conference, and other sanctioned events
- Assist in forming and promoting the growth of clubs within the hobby while ensuring a sustainable future for the marine environment
- Support the efforts to eliminate abuses in collecting and transporting marine organisms through education, assistance and encouragement, and
- Encourage the ethical growth of the marine aquarium hobby and support captive breeding/propagation efforts
Currently, MASNA is having a membership drive. For the month of July, our membership drive is being sponsored by one of the major companies in the reef world, KESSIL.
In July, when you join MASNA as a member, either as an individual or family, you will be entered into a drawing to win a A150 Led light which KESSIL has generously donated. MASNA would like to congratulate the winner of the June Membership Prize, a TUNZE Osmolator, Sean Gross.
In addition to a chance to win the prize, $5 of each new and renewed membership will go towards the Gary Meadows Reef Fund.
