Night of the Tentacles is bursting with frenetic, well-synchronized glimpses of corals and fishes fluorescing under specialized dive illumination.

Four years ago, Vanessa Cara-Kerr of ReefPatrol introduced the world to her fluo-diving music video, “WEATHER – a Coral Nightmare.” Now, a second installment has been released, featuring the ThinkFishTank remix of the 2011 Lana Del Rey song “Video Games“.

The composition has received both a 2nd Place honor with the 2020 World Shootout global underwater film competition, Video Clips category. It was also recently featured as a selection selected for the SOTO AQUA Film Festival, held on the 15th of October in Venice, Italy.

Fluo-diving reveals the unimaginable blackwater beauty of a coral reef at night.

First released in April as the COVID-19 pandemic was raging in Europe, Cara-Kerr explained the new project this way: “In these times we just wanted to hide out, be creative and show the underwater world in the most beautiful way possible (in our opinion) – when fluorescing.”
