The newest product from MR Reefs is the 3-tiered custom Frag Show Rack Set, designed specifically for a 36″ x 24″ frag tank. Comprised of 8 unique sections, the frag rack system is easily portable. MR Reefs also offers custom laser engraving with your company logo! Our Frag Show Racks are made in the USA with cast acrylic. They are laser-cut, and we use polished 1/2″ legs for each tier. Each tier is set 1″ apart in height, measuring at 1.5″, 2.5″, and 3.5″, respectively.
Developed from Experience
MR Reefs founder Mike Riddle explained the development process behind the Frag Show Rack Set. “When I talk about liking what I use or I won’t sell it, when I first used this, I had it as a 4-piece set. The two large back pieces were long racks. This design was flawed from the beginning, but I didn’t know it until I went to a show to use it. We designed the two back sections to be full sections, and that turned out to be cumbersome, both transporting it and setting them it up!

“I knew at that show that a change was needed, so here lies V2, which we are launching into the market. The two large back tiers come in three sections each. This will make both transporting and setup and breakdown so much easier when doing a frag show. Even if for home use, the smaller sections make it easier for removal and cleaning. By keeping the section sizes smaller, shipping costs are also dramatically reduced.
“We can easily modify the size for a larger or smaller tank. Custom orders, depending on the orders in-house, take roughly two weeks (plus shipping times) after approval.”
