Biota is happy to announce we’ve started a brand new facility!
We’re just putting the finishing touches on a new facility in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. This facility will be led by our two new employees Kevin Barden and Marion Hauville Barden. Both have amazing experience within the industry with both breeding ornamental fish and marine veterinary skills.
At this new facility, you can expect some breakthrough research on both endemic Hawaiian fish and increased production of many of our most popular fish like the Coral Beauty angelfish. We’re excited to see what species we’ll have success with next.
All of our animals either from the Palau facility or the new Hawaii facility will be conditioned and quarantined at the Biota Aquariums Facility in Florida to be shipped out across the country when ready for aquarium life. This allows us to have complete quality control and a consistent product for all of our customers.
