Before Jellyfish can be added/ordered, you MUST properly “cycle” your aquarium. The cycling process is when a beneficial bacteria is fed an ammonia source. This bacteria then reproduces and colonizes in the sponge located in the back of your aquarium (this “cycle” process can take up to 6 weeks+).
How It Works:
- Order/Redeem your jellyfish while purchasing this kit at the same time.
- You will receive the fully cycled live sponge in water. The sponge is added to the back of your aquarium in place of the original sponge received with your kit.
- The live Jellyfish can be acclimated and added to the aquarium.
