The Poster Sessions at MACNA are a relatively recent addition to the conference format, inspired by much larger poster sessions commonly encountered in academic settings. One could view these poster sessions as another avenue to bridge the gaps between academic research and the aquarium industry and hobby. With times set aside for researchers to be present, and discussing their findings, the MACNA poster session offers an intimate, personal experience between attendees and presenters.
The 2022 Poster Session clearly had critical areas of focus, looking at improving coral propagation techniques, marine fish aquaculture techniques, and the elusive but important goal of cyanide detection in marine aquarium fisheries. Here are five posters from the 2022 session, in case you missed them!
