Innovation and “new product news” doesn’t have to be the “next big thing” or another entry into a market full of similar products that all do the same thing. Sometimes, something as simple as a packaging change can make a product feel new, even reborn, and create a better product for the aquarist.
Straight from the newest issue of CORAL Magazine, Polyp Lab unveils beautiful new packaging that is a win for reefkeepers in a world of price inflation, and a win in the battle to reduce the world’s plastic use and waste stream.
It’s the same Reef-Roids coral food that authors mention in the pages of CORAL, but it’s now 75 grams (+25%) more for the same retail price of $21.99 in the U.S. Plus, by switching to a resealable pouch, 87% less plastic is used to package and ship the product.
An a major reduction in plastic use is good news for coral keepers, coming from a product that many already know and use in their reefs, in their stores, and at their coral farms.
